4 Unusual Attractions in San Francisco is ....

Moshimoshi.. 🧚  Today, I want to share about San Francisco, especially about unusual attractions. Whether you’re visiting San Francisco for business or pleasure, for a day or for a month, there is so much to see and experience. The Golden Gate Bridge is a must-see for tourists and no trip to this city is complete without a journey to Fisherman’s Wharf. However, there are some more unique and unusual places you’ll need to check out on your journey to this incredible city if you’re interested in getting more than the typical experience. Just make sure not to refer to this town as “San Fran” or “Frisco,” or you’ll be immediately outed as a tourist.

A popular tourist destination, San Francisco is known for its cool summers, fog, steep rolling hills, eclectic mix of architecture, and landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, the former Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, Fisherman's Wharf, and its Chinatown district. Wikipedia.

Here are some of the most unique attractions in the bay area.
🌸 Alcatraz Island
While it may be one of the more popular destinations on this list, a tour of Alcatraz Island might be one of the most unusual and unique experiences of your life. There’s nothing like it anywhere else in the country. The history of Alcatraz is peppered with stories of Native American activism, Civil War POWs, and a few ghost stories that will resonate with you after your journey.

🌸 Winfield Street Slides
If you’re looking for a quirky (and free!) attraction to check out, look no further than the Winfield Street Slides. Take a ride down these 40-foot metal sliding boards on a beautiful day, but make sure to enjoy the majestic view on your climb to the top. Built in the 1970s among the trees, this fun urban adventure has been experienced by many tourists, locals, and even a few prominent local politicians!

🌸 Portals of the Past
In Golden Gate Park, you’ll find a unique attraction called Portals of the Past. A monument located on the shore of Lloyd Lake, these columns, which lasted through a devastating fire and earthquake in 1906 on Nob Hill, symbolize the strength of San Francisco and the city’s ability to withstand whatever comes its way.

🌸 Hotel Vertigo

If you’re only in San Francisco for a visit, you might consider staying at Hotel Vertigo. This place will forever be iconic due to being a focal point of the classic Hitchcock film, Vertigo. It’s also a short walk away from many other unique San Francisco attractions. If you’re visiting for the day, you can still stop by and take photos of this piece of cinematic history or pop into the lobby, where the film plays on repeat 24 hours a day. You’ll enjoy your stay so much, you might find yourself looking at San Francisco homes for sale so that you can make your vacation last forever.

I suggest you to visit the places above, if you visit to San Francisco one day. Thank you for visiting my blog and reading about this. 😘
